Do children get bored in the rain?

16.05.2022

Vacationing by the Baltic Sea is an attractive way to spend this summer time. On the Polish coast, although usually serene, as in any place in the world there are rainy days that make it impossible to beach all day with breaks for ice cream, waffles or fish. However, a bit of precipitation and cloudy skies don't have to mean goodbye fun! What to do at the seaside when the weather is not favorable?

Not being able to swim in the sea does not mean not being able to splash in the water! The 10 x 5-meter swimming pool available at New Skanpol will satisfy both the recreational needs and sports aspirations of guests. The steam bath, dry sauna or jacuzzi operating here are great alternatives to swimming in the Baltic Sea!

On a rainy day, those who prefer active leisure can go for a workout in the fitness room overlooking the park with equipment which will allow you to perform exercises to activate every part of the body.

It's also worth using the rainy season in quite the opposite way to training and treat it as an opportunity to calm down and do what we don't usually find time for. A moment to yourself spent indulging in a relaxing massage, beauty treatment or therapeutic bath? There are even more options, and all of them are available at Skanpol SPA, which is located in the hotel building!

Also, there are many covered attractions for children and the whole family in Kolobrzeg. These include Pomerania Fun Park - an amusement park with slides, ball pools and trampolines, Hidden Land - interactive magical fun on more than 400 square meters, or the "Patria Colbergienisis" museum with 5 thematic rooms dedicated to the city. The museum is located in the basement of the historic city hall.

A whole bunch of attractions available in our hotel and in Kolobrzeg itself shows that when it rains... children do not necessarily have to be bored! 😉
