The history of the New Skanpol Hotel has been associated with Scandinavia since the very beginning. The building was constructed in co-operation with the Swedes, and its name made of two words: SKAN-dinavia and POL-and was selected through competition. 20 years ago the hotel was taken over by Danish investors, which strengthened the Scandinavian ties even more. The contemporary décor of the hotel was designed by a famous Danish interior designer Bo Bonfils. The gallery of Polish poster opened in the Hotel on the initiative and with the support of Wilanów Poster Museum. Today it is displayed in the part of the lounge as well as in the café.
